With more than 45 years of experience in real estate, Megan Fleischl brings a rare depth of knowledge to every client she serves—but what truly sets her apart is the way she makes people feel understood, informed, and at ease throughout the entire process. Whether she’s helping someone purchase their first home, navigate rural land purchases, or sell a long-held family property, Megan approaches every situation with a calm presence, a sharp eye for detail, and a deep understanding of the emotions that come with big life transitions.

Megan started her real estate career in 1979 in Sacramento, and she’s been all-in ever since. She’s seen just about everything the market can throw at a person, and she knows how to help clients make smart, informed decisions—without letting the stress of the unknown get in the way. Her background spans everything from single-family homes and investment properties to land and ranches, and she’s been a steady presence for hundreds of families and individuals who’ve needed a trustworthy advocate.

What her clients appreciate most is her ability to take the pressure off. She listens carefully, communicates clearly, and helps them see the big picture while handling the details behind the scenes. Megan believes her job is to solve problems before they ever land on her clients’ plates, and after managing more than 1,200 escrows over the years, she knows how to spot potential issues early and get ahead of them.

Born in Berkeley and raised in Lafayette, Megan moved to Galt in the late ’70s to run a real estate office and immediately felt at home in the tight-knit, rural community. Since then, she’s learned everything from how to read a property survey to the ins and outs of irrigation systems and environmental reports. Her love of the land and the people who care for it runs deep, and she’s proud to have built strong relationships with many of the area’s pioneer families.

Outside of real estate, Megan is an avid traveler, photographer, and musician—she plays guitar and loves exploring the outdoors. She also serves as the Board Secretary for the Citizens Commission on Human Rights of California and has a long history of community involvement in Galt, including leadership roles with the Chamber of Commerce and the Boys & Girls Club.

For Megan, real estate isn’t just a career—it’s a lifelong commitment to helping people move forward with confidence and care.

Megan was wonderful to work with! She did an amazing job finding a buyer for our Duplex and made the transaction effortless on our part. She is also very responsive and informative during the entire process.
